Bi-Weekly Friday Update 08-22-2025

I very nearly forgot to do this today! But it is again that time! Time for the Bi-Weekly Friday Update! So for the last two weeks I have been ass deep in working on this damned body pillow graphic. It's Ghost from Call of Duty ( a mash up of the MW2 and MW3 versions With some Head-canons thrown in there for good measure) and it has been kicking my ass. I made my canvas way too big and now it loads slow and I'm getting a little annoyed with it. But he's not pixelated which is what I wanted. But I have learned my limits with canvas size and hopefully my art will be better for it! I am going to be working on him for the next two weeks as well because he's just not done and I can only really work on him while my family isn't home because he's NSFW. I have learned a lot from working on him and he's been my big project here lately. 

As for something I finished recently it was Saint Hunny Bunn Patron Saint of Eating things You Shouldn't. A memorial piece for my partners pet rabbit (Hunny Bunn). She was the bestest bun and my partner and I miss her very much. She was so full of personality and love (and cardboard). We all miss her dearly and it's been really hard on us all losing her.  

My music hasn't been much different this last two weeks. I've been listening to more Sleep Token and I have had this W H E R E P E A C E F E E L S L I K E B E I N G A L O N E on a lot as well. 

On a personal note, I can almost feel myself slipping back in to a bad depressive episode but that won't stop me from drawing. Since Haunt Season is nearly here I will be working that as well so I may be a little sporadic posting until November. I'm going to try to do Inktober this year as well (a challenge in itself), so we can only hope that that goes well.

Hi again everyone! It is that time again were I (crawl out of the nest I've made to draw in) take a break from drawing and ramble on about my own artwork and things that interest me! And maybe give a little useful information as well. This week has been a little (read extremely) Hectic for me in my personal life, School is starting back up so I will actually have *more* time to draw and such which is awesome and I can start putting out my NSFW work! (Because I can actually draw it without little eyes prying in to what I'm drawing. >u<).

What I worked on this week was *supposed* to be a doodle. Just an easy little doodle of my Gaia Online avatar (yes I *am* that old) But turned in to a project that got me a follow from the official Gaia account on Twitter! I'm so happy! While she's not the *best* thing I've ever drawn I have to say I love how she's come out. (I'm gonna post the whole timelapse on my YouTube today! It's a mess.) I'm experimenting with eye rendering (which is *a lot* for me) And Keeping my lines from being pixelated (big canvas size... it lags so bad sometimes.) as well as getting my line art to be smoother (challenge level impossible). I'm still getting used to doing things in Clip Studio. It just has so many functions that it's like O.O what??? I'm learning though! 

I am *also* working on a dakimakura pillow cover style piece of (my fictional husband) Simon "Ghost" Riley! I'm adding some of my little head-cannons to him (like the burn scars... and stretch marks... and those tree trunk ass thighs...) I'm trying to make him look like I see him in my head but putting thought to screen is *HARD* (as everyone already knows). I'm working on him and *hopefully* I'll have him (the SFW version) done by next week. then soon after that I'll (hopefully) have the NSFW version (No real *major* changes just removing the shirt and letting that *thang* hang out. (sit on his belly really :D) 

As for music this last two weeks I've had a few songs in my rotation and made a playlist Hype Music Playlist (for anyone interested). Its very... eclectic... to say the least. But hey it doesn't have to be cohesive! It can be an absolute mess! I'm slowly learning to let things be a mess when I'm working on art. Like my art can have little imperfections like an over drawn line or the color not *quite right*. I am absolutely my own biggest critic. I am going to see those little fuck ups and little extra marks more than anyone just looking at it ever will. And you know what that's okay! 

So as for an update on last times what I'm working on... Well I'm still on Glitches Ref Sheet and *painting* in CSP, hells that's hard. I can't *feel* my paint which is something I rely on when I'm painting IRL. It's rough man. Anyway! I'm looking forward to this next couple of weeks! I hope everyone has a good time too!

So it is yet again (!) that time, for the Bi-Weekly Friday update!

This week I was gifted Clip Studio Paint! I am so grateful to my fabulous friend who gifted it to me! So that's what I've been working on this week! Learning how to use CSP, the UI is *so* different than Krita is! I am especially enjoying being able to easily download assets and such from the shop. I'm currently working on a reference sheet for my OC Glitch! Fleshing her out a little better and all. Changing her up some and giving her more personality!

This weeks highlighted piece is my daily doodle from yesterday! Which is kind of funny! I am super happy with it, its helped my learn how to use not only some of the more intricate functions of CSP but given me a chance to play around with he assets and editing them! I'm actually in the middle of making another piece inspired by it and a kind of vaporwave, glitchwave, aesthetic.

I greatly enjoyed making this and I'll post the other one I'm working on when it's done! (NGL I'm making it wallpaper sized so I can use it as such.) I absolutely love the glitchwave and vaporwave aesthetics (I also can not freaking spell that for the life of me.)

This last two weeks my playlist has either been my Sleep Token playlist or my Kawaii TikTok playlist! So either metal or freaking cute sounding Lo-Fi. I'll Link both below so you can check them out too!

As for what I'm working on for the next two weeks, I plan on finishing my ref. sheet for Glitch and starting on one for one of my other OC's named Void. As well as attempting a "painting" in CSP. I really hope i don't get hit with another round of the dreaded ART BLOCK. Which was unfortunately my whole week this week. For this moment I really hope the power doesn't go out because it's storming.

Hello there! It is time for the first (!!!) Bi-Weekly Friday Update! So these are going to go, basically, A piece of art that I have done within the last two weeks that I personally really like and a little about that piece, A little bit about issues I'm having with techniques or styles I'm trying or working with/on, and finally a bit about what I am working on within the next two weeks! (And maybe, possibly, some of the music I've been listening to while drawing.) So lets get started!

This week is Monster Melty! This is the second attempt at this piece actually (ᵕ—ᗜ—), my computer decided it wasn't having it in the middle of the first one and crashed. So I had to start almost all the way over. I know it is bright and a bit of a eyesore but that's okay! Art, in my opinion doesn't have to be pretty to be enjoyed or seen! I think I said it in the post about it but his is the colors of my favorite Monster flavors. I am well aware that's kind of dumb but it's okay I had fun making it. and for those curious, they are : Rehab: Green Tea, Ultra Rosa, Ultra Vice, Juiced: Viking Berry, Ultra Peachy Keen, Killer Brew: Loca Mocha, Ultra Strawberry Dreams (Which is like weirdly hit or miss? They cant seem to keep the flavor consistent for some reason???), and Monster Original!

I've been trying to work on my line confidence this week, which is what Monster Melty was really about! I have quite low confidence with my line work and (if you cant tell) have to kind of rely on a stabilizer or weight tool to get decently crisp lines. (My hands also shake but that is absolutely another problem in it's self >~~~<) and some how I have lost the brush options in Krita? I am not entirely sure how I did that but am trying to get that docker back... If anyone knows how please let me know I have no idea what happened to it. I'm and idiot and I found it.

Anyway! Over the next week or two I will be working on getting together my Character Reference sheets for Glitch and Void as well as "Mushy". I have no idea how to go about this though so there's that. I'm probably going to make a "Character Sheet" template. I'll post it when I'm done with it.
